So schnell geht es und da ist der erste Monat in New York auch schon rum. Was habe ich erlebt und gemacht bisher? Die Frage bekomme ich oft und dazu auch was ich in meinem Alltag so treibe.
Genau diese Frage ist schwer für mich zu beantworten und erinnert mich sehr an Singapur als meine Freundin mich besuchen kam und mich fragte was ich denn jeden Tag so treibe. Als ich ihr keine konkrete Antwort gab meinte sie, dass es ja nicht so aufregend zu sein scheint. Aber genau das ist es, man hat keinen normalen Alltag und macht jeden Tag etwas anderes und deswegen gibt es auch dazu keine einseitige Antwort. Ich stehe auf, meistens gegen 9, weil ich kein Frühaufsteher bin, beantworte e-mails, manchmal bewege ich mich zum Sport und an anderen Tagen treffe ich mich zum Frühstück mit Freundinnen, die ich letztes Jahr in New York kennen gelernt habe oder arbeite an meinem Blog, treffe mich mit Fotografen und schreibe Bewerbungen, da ich ja jetzt endlich mit meinem Bachelor fertig bin.
Sometimes I wonder where all my time goes - it's been a month already since I moved and everyone keeps asking me 'What are you doing all day?' And although this is such a simple question it is not easy to answer. I remember when I moved to Singapore and just a few weeks in, my friend came to visit me and asked me the same question and I couldn't give her a straight answer and she just assumed I wasn't doing anything exciting - but that's the thing. Every day is different, I don't have a routine yet which makes the question hard to answer but I know one thing for sure - this city is my home and I will work hard to stay here.

Letzte Woche habe ich mit einem Fotografen in Soho getroffen, da man dort einfach die schönsten Hintergründe für Fotos hat. Und auch ein bisschen, weil das meine Lieblingsgegend ist. Als ich meinen Instagram Feed die Tage durch gegangen bin ist mir dann aufgefallen, dass ich ziemlich viel weiß trage, ich versuche meine Farbpalette mal ein wenig zu variieren. Dafür habe ich mir letzte Woche meinen ersten Choker geholt - und auch wenn man sich kurz daran gewöhnen muss, dass er so unglaublich 'eng' ist im Gegensatz zu normalen Kette hat mir der Look so gut gefallen, sodass ich mir gleich zwei weitere geholt habe. Den anderen präsentiere ich euch dann in meinem nächsten Look.
Last week I met with a photographer in Soho and took these amazing photos. Soho is really my favorite area in New York for so many reasons. When I looked at my feed last week I realized I was wearing a lot of white - I am trying to incorporate a few more colors but white is just my favorite summer color. I did get a few new things this week - chokers. The last time I owned one is probably more than 15 years ago but I really liked the look of this one - so much I decided to get two more, which I will show you in my next outfit post.
