Ein Praktikum in New York City - Wo fängt man an?

This post will be about the organisational part of my internship: How to find an internship, how to get an US Visa as a German citizen, how to find an apartment in New York and some minor things. So this post will only be in German. My next New York Guide which will include my favorite restaurants, bars, shops, clubs,  etc. will be in English again.

In diesem Post werde ich über die organisatorischen Aspekte von meinem Praktikum

sprechen und über Fragen die ich mir auch gestellt habe bevor das große Abenteuer angefangen hat. Die allerwichtigste wäre dann wahrscheinlich auch:

Pastel Chic in Soho

9 Tage ist es erst her, dass ich von New York weggeflogen bin und wenn ich diese Fotos aus Soho anschaue vermisse ich diese Stadt nur noch mehr. Ich habe mich in keiner anderen Stadt jemals so wohl gefühlt wie in New York. Ich war schon immer ein Stadtmensch und diese Stadt übertrifft jede Wünsche eines Stadtmenschen. In weniger als 4 Monaten werde ich ja auch schon wieder umziehen - dieses Mal nach Singapur und für ganze 5 Monate. Und obwohl ich schon zwei Mal in Singapur war um Urlaub zu machen bin ich ganz gespannt wie es wird in dieser Stadt zu leben. Jetzt arbeite ich aber erst einmal an einem Post über meinen New York Trip für euch - wie das alles zustande kam und wie ich das organisiert habe.

It's been only 9 days since I have left New York and when I look back at these pictures from Soho I miss this city even more. I have never lived in a city where I have ever felt this comfortable in. I have always been a city girl and this city exceeds every expectation you might have. In less than 4 months I will be moving again - this time to Singapore but now for 5 months. Although I have been to Singapore twice before I am still excited to see what the city has to offer when you actually live there. But enough about that upcoming adventure now I'll continue writing on my post about my New York City trip and how I got the internship, my apartment and other things. Stay tuned!
