Und nun ist es auch schon wieder eine Woche her, dass ich meine Lieblingsstadt wieder verlassen musste - die Zeit dort vergeht einfach schneller als überall anders. Wie ihr anhand dieses Outfits erkennen könnt hatte ich unglaubliches Glück mit dem Wetter und hatte die ganze Woche über 20 bis 24 Grad und Sonne. Und das habe ich dann gleich genutzt um mir meinen schon längeren Wunsch von der Dior 'SoReal' Sonnenbrille zu erfüllen und habe sie mir dann endlich zugelegt. Zugegeben habe ich ein wenig darüber nachgedacht so viel Geld für eine Sonnenbrille auszugeben, aber ich liebe ausgefallene Sonnenbrillen einfach sehr und konnte mir diese einfach nicht entgehen lassen.

New York war wie immer wunderschön und ich konnte die Stadt nochmal auf ganz anderem Wege entdecken - nämlich ohne unter der Woche zu arbeiten und konnte nochmal ein paar mehr Frühstücksplätze abklappern, zu denen ich es das letzte Mal nicht geschafft habe. Frühstück ist nämlich mein absolutes Lieblingsessen und ginge es nach mir würde ich den ganzen Tag frühstücken. Im Sommer war ich mit Kristina abends in SoHo unterwegs und wir hatten beschlossen bei Delicatessen zu essen da draußen 'Breakfast All Day' stand und da Kristina genauso Frühstücks vernarrt ist wie ich war es für uns keine Frage, dass wir dort essen. Als wir dann endlich das perfekte Frühstück ausgewählt hatten teilte man uns mit, dass es Frühstück nur all DAY geben würde, sprich bis 17 Uhr. Dementsprechend enttäuscht und rebellious habe ich mir dann einen Obstteller bestellt, weil ich mich über das falsche advertising geärgert habe und keine Lust auf 'Abendessen' hatte. Und obwohl ich einige Frühstücksplätze im Sommer ausprobiert habe gibt es noch so so viele mehr, die ich natürlich auch dieses Mal nicht alle besuchen konnte, aber ich bin mir sicher, dass es bestimmt bald wieder zurück geht nach New York. Hoffentlich schon ganz bald nach meinem Auslandssemester in Singapur was ja auch nicht mehr weit weg ist, aber dazu mehr nächste Woche. Euch ein wunderschönes Wochenende!

And now it's already been a week since I had to leave my favorite city behind - time really passes quicker in New York than anywhere else! As you can see in the picture I had a lot of luck with the weather as it was sunny and 20 - 24 degrees the whole week. Before I left to New York I though to myself if the weather is good I should have another look at the Dior 'SoReal' sunglasses and get them if I still really liked them - they were on my list since June - and of course I couldn't resist. I love sunglasses and especially edgy unusual ones and I have already totally fallen in love with them.

New York again did not disappoint me and I had so much fun discovering the city during the week which I couldn't do in the summer since I worked. This of course means I had so much more time to explore breakfast places I didn't have a chance to try the last time. Breakfast is my favorite meal in the day and there is no chance I would ever skip breakfast and if it were up to me I would eat breakfast all day long. When I was doing my internship in the city during the summer Kristina and I were strolling through SoHo and decided to get food at Delicatessen as they advertised 'Breakfast all Day' and Kristina is as obsessed with breakfast as I am. After we had made our choice we were informed that breakfast is actually only served all DAY meaning until 5pm. Accordingly disappointed and frustrated about their false advertisement - I take my breakfast very seriously - I ordered a fruit salad and never returned. This trip I went to three new places which I loved - Pause Cafe, Clinton Street Bakery and Jack's Wife Freda. I will write a new post about all my favorite New York breakfast places next week as well as a post about my upcoming exchange semester in Singapore - less than 50 days! Hope you have a great weekend.
