I am Vivien Tatham: Travel Diary from our Trip to Disneyland, Paris and Versailles

GER: Hallo ihr Lieben, dieses Wochenende sind mein Freund und ich nach Paris und ins Disneyland Paris gefahren. Ganz viele meinen immer, dass das immer nur ein Ort für Kinder sei, aber ich finde es immer wieder bezaubernd und würde mir auch den annual pass holen wäre es nicht so weit weg :D An sich ist der Park nicht voller aufregender rides, da es schon sehr kinderfreundlich gestaltet ist, aber die Unterschrift von Mickey zu sammeln ist an sich auch schon sehr spannend :D Wie ihr seht bin ich ein ganz großer Fan, da ich mein Autogrammbuch und Mickey Stift mitgebracht habe und mir diese süßen Micky Öhrchen geholt habe. Und ganz am Ende des Tages um 22 Uhr beginnt eine Show, die auf das Schloss projiziert wird mit ganz viel Feuerwerk, was das eigentliche Highlight am ganzen Tag ist.

An Tag zwei sind wir nach Paris gegangen und haben uns so die allgemeinen Sightseeing Sachen angeschaut - Louvre, L'arc de Triumph, Champs Elysee, Eiffelturm, Notre Dame und Sacre Coer. Und am letzten Tag sind wir zum Schloss Versailles gefahren. Auf dem letzten Bild könnt ihr den eindrucksvollen Garten sehen. Ich denke jeder kennt das Schloss aus dem Geschichtsunterricht, aber es live zu sehen war nochmal ein wenig mehr beeindruckend.

ENG: Hello lovelies, this past weekend my boyfriend and I went to Paris and Disneyland Paris. Although many people say that its rather a place for children I couldn't disagree more because I think its a place for everyone who seeks to escape into a happy place for a day. The rides might not be as exciting as they would be in the Universal Studios or Six Flags but nonetheless you can go to Mickey Mouse and ask for a signature which I thought was just as exciting :D As you can see I'm a huge fan - I own an autograph book from previous visits, as well as a Mickey pen and obviously I had to buy a pair of Mickey ears :D Just before the park closes they show an amazing show with fireworks which lasts about 20 minutes and is definitely a highlight.

On day two of our visit we just did some basic sightseeing - Louvre, L'arc de Triumph, Champs Elysee, Eiffelturm, Notre Dame und Sacre Coer. The last day we spent at the Chateau Versailles. This is a castle we discussed quite thoroughly in history class so we thought it would be really interesting to actually see how big and impressive it really was. To give you an impression of how big it is you can see the large garden it has in my last picture.
